WOMENS FOR PEACE

Women are the key forces for change. At the Global Ambassadors for through Tourism we believe that mobilising women will yield massive results. We have events and programs tailored for empowering women to raise awareness about the message of Peace across the world using travel as a vehicle.

The world will function at its full potential when all the marginalized people are empowered. Our Capacity building initiatives are aimed at providing women the tools to become world leaders, changemakers, ambassadors for peace, and confident contributors to the economy. Through these initiatives, we identify organizations that create lasting impact in communities and support their programs. These programs are meant to generate sustainable tourism that spurs local economic growth giving those involved a means of living.

Dialogue is one of our core values. We believe it is the catalyst to peace, therefore, we organise annual conferences for Women Peace Ambassadors which facilitate our women chapters to voice their opinions by travelling for peace. An agenda for the next year, upcoming peace journeys, new programs, and integrations with other organizations are discussed in the conferences. These conferences are an excellent way to network with inspiring women who are spearheading change every day.

It is said that “Behind every successful woman, there is a tribe of other successful women who have her back”. “By Women, for Women Peace journeys”, is the principle that we stand by! Peace Journeys are undertaken by Women Peace Ambassadors around the world, with a message of peace. Some of the upcoming Peace Journeys of our Women Peace Ambassadors endeavour to head to Belgium, the United States of America, Nepal, Iceland, and beyond, leaving a trace of love and peace behind.
